Stretch Mark Camouflage Tattoo in Las Vegas and Vancouver - Custom Skin-Tone Tattooing for Stretch Marks, Scars, and Pigmentation Loss
Falcon Artistry offers stretch mark camouflage tattooing in Las Vegas and Vancouver for clients looking to reduce the visible contrast of stretch marks, surgical scars, and pigmentation loss. Stretch marks affect up to 80% of the population at some point in life. We use custom-mixed skin-tone ink to blend affected areas with surrounding skin. Candice Falcon is a recognized leader in the field, training artists who travel from around the world to learn her advanced techniques. Each treatment is tailored to the client’s natural skin tone, mark colouring, and desired outcome.
Stretch Mark Camouflage Tattooing at Falcon Artistry
Stretch mark camouflage tattooing is a medical tattoo procedure that deposits custom-blended, skin-tone pigment into stretch marks, scars, or areas of pigmentation loss. The ink reduces the white or light contrast of the affected area against the surrounding skin. The result is a softer, more uniform skin appearance where the marks become less visible to the naked eye.
This is not a stretch mark removal procedure. No treatment other than surgical skin removal (such as a tummy tuck) fully eliminates stretch marks. Camouflage tattooing diminishes their visual appearance by filling the depigmented areas with matched pigment. The process is conservative and layered across multiple sessions to achieve the most natural-looking result.
Falcon Artistry uses this technique for 3 primary concerns:
Stretch Marks: Light-coloured stretch marks on any body area. The white or silver contrast is replaced with custom skin-tone ink to blend with surrounding skin.
Surgical Scars: Post-surgical scarring where pigmentation has been lost. Custom ink blends the scar with the surrounding skin tone for a smoother, less noticeable appearance.
Pigmentation Loss: Areas where natural skin pigment has faded or been lost due to injury, surgery, or skin conditions. Tattooing restores colour to depigmented patches.
Have you tried everything and been told you need to “live with” what’s bothering you?
From pigmentation loss, to scarring and stretchmarks – Your marks tell a story, but maybe it isn’t a story you want to tell. Often it gets tiring when people are pointing something out or asking about it. If you’re bothered by it, nothing is too small and you owe yourself the freedom of feeling less self-conscious!
Candidacy Requirements for Stretch Mark Camouflage
Camouflage tattooing is only suitable in specific cases. Not all stretch marks or scars qualify for this procedure. A photo assessment is required before booking to confirm candidacy and provide a custom quote.
Key candidacy factors:
Colour: Stretch marks must be lighter than the surrounding skin tone. Light, white, or silver stretch marks are the primary candidates. Darker stretch marks can be lightened but require multiple sessions.
Texture: The marks must be flat and flush with the surrounding skin. Raised or textured scars need scar revision treatment first to change the texture before camouflage tattooing can be applied.
Skin Type: Factors including skin type, colouring, contrast between mark and skin tone, age of the marks, and overall skin condition determine suitability.
Tanning: Clients must be at their natural skin tone at the time of the appointment. Tanned skin cannot be matched accurately. Sessions must be postponed until any tan has faded.
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: This treatment is not available during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Sessions can be booked after breastfeeding has ended.
Photos must be submitted by email before any booking or consultation is scheduled. Failure to receive candidacy approval in advance results in forfeiting the booking fee.
Tanning and Stretch Mark Camouflage Tattoos
Camouflage tattoo ink is matched to your natural, untanned skin tone. The tattoo itself does not change colour when exposed to sunlight. If you tan, the surrounding skin darkens while the tattooed area stays at your natural skin-tone colour.
The stretch marks remain camouflaged because the white or silver contrast has been replaced with pigment. The overall contrast between mark and skin is still reduced compared to untreated stretch marks. Clients must be at their natural skin tone at the time of each session. Any existing tan must fade fully before the appointment.
Scar Revision Before Camouflage Tattooing
Camouflage tattooing requires a flat, smooth skin surface. Raised or textured scars do not hold pigment evenly and produce uneven results. Falcon Artistry offers scar revision as a separate service to flatten and smooth raised scar tissue before camouflage tattooing.
If your stretch marks or scars are raised above the surrounding skin, scar revision changes the texture first. Once the scar is flat and healed, camouflage tattooing can be applied for optimal colour blending. Candice assesses scar texture during the photo review and advises whether scar revision is needed before proceeding.

Follow up info (Return existing clients):
Follow up appointments vary in timing depending on your skin type and how long your skin and ink take to “settle.” Ideally we can check in and see how you are progressing at the 8 week mark to assess when you could return for subsequent appointments.
I understand that the price of my procedure includes 1 appointment only. These services can require a few sessions (depending on your service) to ensure your results are optimal. The Stretch Mark Camouflage Tattoo Process at Falcon Artistry
Every stretch mark camouflage appointment at Falcon Artistry follows a structured, client-involved process. No tattooing begins without the client’s approval on colour and placement.
Photo Assessment & Candidacy Confirmation: Submit photos of your stretch marks or scars by email. Candice reviews the images to determine if you are a suitable candidate. A custom quote is provided based on the scope of work.
Goal Discussion: At your appointment, Candice reviews your goals and how you want the treated area to look. Reference photos from past clients are available for comparison.
Mapping & Colour Matching: The treatment area is mapped directly on your body so you can see the planned coverage. Candice custom-mixes ink to match your natural skin tone. You approve the shape and colour before any tattooing begins.
Conservative Tattooing: Ink is applied conservatively in the first session. This approach allows the skin to heal and the colour to settle before additional layers are applied. Conservative application ensures the most natural result.
Follow-Up & Layering: A follow-up assessment is recommended at approximately 8 weeks after the initial session. Additional sessions build on healed results, layering colour to maintain a natural appearance. Colour adjustments are made as needed based on how the skin responds.
Healing Timeline and Aftercare for Stretch Mark Camouflage Tattoos
There is little to no downtime after a stretch mark camouflage tattoo. Most treated areas can be covered with clothing. Clients can return to work the same day.
Immediately after the session, the treated area appears red and slightly raised. This is a normal skin response. Aftercare instructions are provided at the appointment to ensure the best healed results.
Colour stabilization typically takes approximately 3 months. Clients with darker skin tones may experience temporary hyperpigmentation during the initial healing stage. This fades as the skin settles, though the healed result may take slightly longer to appear.
Follow-up timing varies by skin type and individual healing response. The 8-week check-in allows Candice to assess progress and determine when the next session can be scheduled.
