Artist Candice Falcon performs powder brows, hairstroke brows, and combination brows using rotary PMU machine techniques exclusively. Falcon Artistry does not perform microblading. The tattooing step begins only after the client has reviewed and approved the shape and color.
What Is an Eyebrow Tattoo?
An eyebrow tattoo is a cosmetic tattoo procedure also referred to as permanent makeup (PMU). A rotary PMU machine deposits iron oxide-based pigment into the upper dermis layer of the skin. The result is the appearance of fuller, more defined, or more symmetrical eyebrows.
Cosmetic tattoo pigment is formulated differently from traditional body tattoo ink. The composition allows pigment to soften and fade gradually over years, making color adjustments possible as the face changes with age. The procedure is classified as permanent. Once tattooed, the skin does not return to its pre-tattooed state.
Falcon Artistry uses machine-based techniques for all eyebrow tattoo services in Las Vegas and Vancouver. The studio does not perform microblading. Machine application provides consistent pigment depth, reduces skin trauma, and produces more predictable long-term results across a wider range of skin types.

Eyebrow Tattoo Techniques Offered in Las Vegas & Vancouver
Falcon Artistry offers three eyebrow tattoo techniques at the Las Vegas and Vancouver location. Each technique is suited to a different brow goal, hair type, and skin condition. Candice Falcon determines the most appropriate technique based on a consultation at the start of each appointment.
Powderbrows (with Optional Soft Ombré Front)
OUR MOST POPULAR BROW SERVICE
Powder brows is the most requested technique at Falcon Artistry Las Vegas and Vancouver. A rotary PMU machine deposits pigment in a series of micro-dots across the brow area. The result mimics the look of softly filled-in brows - comparable to the effect of brow powder or pencil applied to the skin.
The ombré variation builds a lighter, softer front at the brow head and transitions to a denser, more defined tail. This gradient suits both natural and more polished brow styles.
Powder brows are appropriate for all skin types. The technique performs well on oily skin, mature skin, and clients with naturally sparse or fair brow hair. It is the technique Falcon Artistry recommends most broadly across Las Vegas and Vancouver clients due to its candidacy range and skin-health profile.
Technique: rotary PMU machine, micro-dot pigment deposit
Suitable for: all skin types including oily and mature skin
Finish: soft makeup effect, scalable from natural to defined
Longevity: 2-3 years before a refresh is recommended
Healed Powderbrows:
Hairstroke Brows
The hairstroke technique uses a PMU machine to draw fine, individual hair-like strokes through the brow area. Each stroke is calibrated to the direction, color, and density of the client's existing brow hair. The finished result is a textured, natural-looking brow with visible individual hair definition.
Hairstroke brows require specific skin conditions to heal correctly. Suitable candidates have normal to dry skin, minimal visible pores, and naturally lighter or sparse brow hair. The technique is not appropriate for clients with oily skin, enlarged pores, or naturally thick, dark brow hair. In these cases, machine strokes may soften or spread during the healing process.
Technique: rotary PMU machine, fine-line hairstroke method
Suitable for: normal to dry skin, light to medium natural brow density
Not suitable for: oily skin, enlarged pores, thick or dark natural brow hair
Finish: natural, textured brow with individual hair definition
Longevity: 2–3 years depending on skin type and aftercare
Combination Brows
Combination brows apply two techniques within a single appointment. Machine hairstroke is performed at the front of the brow to create visible hair texture. Powder shading is applied through the body and tail of the brow for density and shape. The two methods work together to produce a brow with both front-of-brow texture and a fully defined shape.
This technique suits clients who want the natural-looking front definition of hairstroke brows combined with the consistent color and shape of powder brows. Combination brows are suitable for most skin types.
Technique: hairstroke front + powder-shaded body and tail
Suitable for: most skin types
Finish: textured front with filled, defined shape
Longevity: 2–3 years
Eyebrow Correction (Brows done elsewhere)
Do you have brows you’re not happy with?
If it is at all possible, we try to avoid doing unnecessary full removal of the previous tattoo (if we can), to maintain the health of the skin as much as we can. Powderbrows can blend over existing microblading, correcting colour and shape. If there is a small piece of tattoo outside of our new shape, removal can be done in a different session in the future after healing.
If the existing brows shape is too big/far outside the shape or too dark, we can do removal to adjust or lighten in advance.

Follow-Up Appointment (Return clients only)
Follow up appointments may be made for after the 6-8 week mark.
I understand that the price of my procedure includes one appointment.
These services typically require 2 sessions to ensure your results are optimal. Your second session builds off of your healed result, perfecting your shape and colouring, and any adjustments are made if needed. After this, maintenance sessions keep your work looking refreshed.

Why Falcon Artistry Does Not Offer Microblading?
Falcon Artistry does not perform microblading at either studio location. This is a deliberate clinical decision based on skin health and long-term pigment outcomes.
Microblading uses a manual hand tool to cut fine incisions into the skin. Each stroke is an open wound. Repeated microblading sessions over time cause cumulative cutting of the same tissue, which can result in scar tissue formation in the brow area. Scar tissue retains pigment inconsistently and may produce uneven color or texture as the work ages.
Rotary machine techniques deposit pigment without cutting the skin. Needle depth is mechanically consistent across each pass, reducing trauma to the dermal layer. Pigment retention is more even. Healing outcomes are more predictable.
Microblading is also clinically limited in candidacy. It is not appropriate for oily skin, mature skin, or clients with naturally thick dark brow hair. The machine-based techniques performed by Candice Falcon at the Las Vegas and Vancouver studio are suitable for a broader range of skin types and brow profiles.

Why Choose Falcon Artistry for Eyebrow Tattoos in Las Vegas and Vancouver
Falcon Artistry is a globally recognized studio in cosmetic and restorative tattooing. The studio is led by artist Candice Falcon, who is known internationally for niche PMU techniques and teaches other professional artists. Clients travel from across Canada, the United States, and internationally to receive services at Falcon Artistry.
Machine Techniques Only - No Microblading
Falcon Artistry performs all eyebrow tattoo services using rotary PMU machine techniques. The studio does not offer microblading. This decision is based on the clinical evidence that machine-based application causes less cumulative skin trauma, produces more consistent pigment retention, and delivers predictable results across a wider range of skin types. Las Vegas and Vancouver clients with previously microbladed brows are assessed individually for correction eligibility.
Custom Pigment Mixed Per Client
Falcon Artistry does not use pre-mixed standard pigment colors. Each client's pigment is custom-blended to match their specific hair tone, skin undertone, and natural brow color. This approach produces results that integrate with the client's existing features rather than sitting as a visible overlay.
Every Shape Is Approved Before Any Tattooing Begins
No tattooing at Falcon Artistry begins without explicit client approval. The brow shape is mapped directly on the face, and the pigment color is selected and reviewed before the procedure starts. Clients have full visibility and final say over both elements. Adjustments are made at this stage - not after the tattoo is done.
Tattoos That Do Not Look Like Tattoos
Falcon Artistry specializes in results that are indistinguishable from natural features. The studio's defining standard is work that enhances without announcing itself. Eyebrow tattoos are shaped, colored, and applied to integrate with each client's face - not to replicate a generic brow template.

Frequently Asked Questions - Eyebrow Tattoo Las Vegas and Vancouver
-
No human face is perfectly symmetrical. Candice Falcon maps the brow shape directly on the face before tattooing begins, using facial measurements to achieve proportional balance. The mapped shape is reviewed and approved by the client before the procedure starts. Perfect geometric symmetry cannot be guaranteed, but structural balance relative to the face is the goal of every appointment.
-
No downtime is required. Most clients return to regular daily activity immediately after their appointment in Las Vegas and Vancouver. Brows appear darker for the first few days, which is more noticeable to the client than to others. Makeup can be worn normally after the appointment, except directly over the treated brow area during the 14-day healing period.
-
Cosmetic eyebrow tattooing uses iron oxide-based pigments deposited into the upper dermis at a shallower depth than traditional body tattoos. Traditional tattoo ink is deposited into the deeper dermis and is formulated to be permanent and color-stable. PMU pigments are designed to soften gradually over time, allowing future color adjustments. The two procedures use different machines, needle configurations, pigment compositions, and application depths.

In most cases, yes. Powder brows can blend over existing microbladed brows when the existing pigment is not excessively dark and the shape is close to the desired new shape. Submit clear photos of your current brows without makeup for an initial assessment. Candice Falcon will review your photos and confirm whether correction can proceed directly or whether a lightening session is recommended first.
