Eyeliner Overview
Eyeliner tattoos simplify your daily beauty routine by giving you flawless-looking eyeliner that defines your lashline and gives you a makeup look. Sometimes, more than one appointment may be necessary to achieve the desired thickness, for the health of your skin.
Eyeliner is notoriously hard to put on and get right! Have you ever had your eyeliner transfer to your eyelid or wipe off accidentally? One client joked that getting it tattooed was less painful than putting it on and trying to get it perfect everyday!
Reasons to get tattooed eyeliner: Worry-free vacations, allergies, sensitive skin, removing makeup and irritating the skin, glamorous swimming, smear- free in the gym. If you have poor eyesight, shaky hands, want to be low maintenance, or are not confident in makeup skills, this is a great option for you!
All our eyeliner tattoos are done through the lashline, which creates the appearance of thicker and fuller lashes. The thickness and design is up to you!

The shape is designed custom to your eyelid and what compliments your face. This design is the most dramatic and depends on your eyes’ natural eyelid shape and the space allowance to fit the wing design.

Follow-Up Appointment (Return clients)
Follow up appointments may be made for after the 6-8 week mark.
I understand that the price of my procedure includes one appointment.
These services typically require 2 sessions to ensure your results are optimal. Your second session builds off of your healed result, perfecting your shape and colouring, and any adjustments are made if needed. After this, maintenance sessions keep your work looking refreshed.

The style of eyeliner we suggest has to do with A) What you are comfortable with wearing everyday and B) What complements your natural eye shape. If you are unsure what would suit you, every appointment has a built-in consultation where you can see it drawn on your eye before it’s tattooed. Styles range from a tight line, a smokey or regular liner, or a thicker liner with a wing. All eyeliner tattoos are done through the lashes to make them appear thicker, fuller and more defined. The tattoo eyeliner color is customized to your preference, and we work with you to determine what shape and look is best to compliment your unique features.

Every appointment has a built-in consultation where the shape and colour is discussed and approved by you. The anesthetic is on the skin for 20 minutes before the procedure so you feel numb before we tattoo. Complete after-care instructions will be reviewed verbally and then sent home with you.

Generally speaking, the appointment is approximately 3 hours. This ensures that the appointment doesn’t feel rushed.

Everyone has different pain thresholds so this is always a tough question to answer. However, most report that initially there is a “tickling” sensation as topical anaesthetic is applied for 20 minutes prior to the tattoo in addition to secondary numbing during the tattoo. The area can get tender by the end of the service but it is generally described as manageable.

Aftercare is gone over with you at the end of your appointment and you have the opportunity to ask any questions. It is imperative that you follow these directions to ensure the best possible healed results. Please refer to the Aftercare page for detailed instructions.

This varies depending on the style and colour of the tattoo (lighter, thinner tattoos fade faster) the client’s skin, lifestyle, longterm aftercare and health condition. The tattoo is considered permanent but will gradually fade and may need follow up appointments to refresh the colour to your preference. This is usually done anywhere from 2-5 years after a service.
