Artist & Founder
Candice Falcon is a globally recognized pioneer in medical and restorative tattooing. Her transformative work has made her a sought-after presenter at international medical and industry conventions and has been featured in media for its life-changing impact. As an acclaimed educator, her signature techniques are practiced by artists worldwide. Trusted by surgeons, she delivers healing and confidence - restoring results through her customized tattoo artistry.
Candice was born and raised in Vancouver, where she opened her first studio in 2016 before expanding and opening a second location in Las Vegas in 2024. What started as a passion for art grew into a career focused on restorative tattooing and helping people feel more like themselves again.
Her studio, Falcon Artistry, opened in 2016 in Vancouver, Canada and her second location in Las Vegas in 2024. She specializes in what she describes as “tattoos that don’t look like tattoos”—highly customized results designed to blend naturally with the body.
Working closely with surgeons and the trans community, Candice focuses on advanced restorative and gender-affirming tattooing. Her work includes hyper-realistic 3D nipple tattoos, scar and stretch mark camouflage, and specialized procedures such as phalloplasty and vaginoplasty realism tattooing—an ultra-niche field practiced by only a small number of artists worldwide. Her approach combines artistry, medical collaboration, and a deep understanding of healing, ensuring each client receives a thoughtful and personalized result.
Candice mentors artists through Falcon Artistry Academy in her unique methodology based off of her skills as an artist and a painter. She is also an advocate for raising awareness about restorative tattooing and the important role it plays in identity, healing, and self-confidence. Her signature techniques are now practiced by artists around the world, contributing to higher standards and improved outcomes across the industry.
At the heart of Candice’s work is a simple mission: to make restorative tattooing more visible, accessible, and understood—so that people who could benefit from it know these options exist. Through collaboration, education, and compassionate care, she continues to help clients move forward with confidence.
About Candice
Before specializing in medical and restorative tattooing, Candice was always immersed in art. She is an artist and painter and previously worked as an art instructor, and she studied graphic design and illustration at Capilano University. Art has always been part of how she understands the world, and that creative background continues to influence the custom, highly detailed work she does today.
Her path here has been anything but traditional. Earlier in her career, she:
Worked as a fire inspector managing programs across four provinces, where she wrote a manual and helped systemize processes and expectations.
Served as a camp counsellor at a burn camp supporting children with burn injuries.
Worked as a lifeguard through university while taking Capilano’s IDEA Program for Graphic Design & Illustration
Those experiences shaped how she approaches client care — with patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Outside of work, Candice is someone who loves learning and exploring. She:
Did French immersion growing up and is currently learning Spanish.
Has traveled to 21 countries, including a four-month backpacking trip through China and Southeast Asia.
Works closely with a rescue organization and shares her life with her rescue dogs (who you’ll probably see featured around here!)
Creatively, she loves maximalist design, colorful spaces, and expressing personality through dyed hair, fun makeup, and outfits. And if you meet her in person, there’s a good chance you might end up talking for hours — she’s definitely the type who can have a three-hour conversation with someone she just met!
At the end of the day, everything Candice does—whether it’s art, education, or restorative tattooing — comes from the same place: connecting with people and creating work that truly means something to them.
“Facilitating healing,
enhancing natural beauty.”
Candice regularly presents at both industry and medical conventions, and as an educator, teaches her unique methodology worldwide – elevating the standard for results. She works closely with surgeons to deliver healing, confidence-restoring outcomes through advanced tattoo artistry.
