“Scalp Micropigmentation” (SMP) is the technique of adding tiny dots to the scalp to mimic hair follicles. The most common appearance being the look of a cleanly shaved head. However, whether you have gradual to full hair loss, or are male or female, this service is for you to fill in your hairline and add density. The tiny dots even blend with thinning hair, mitigating the lighter parts of the scalp, which are more noticeable as from the contrast between the skin and hair.

Our pricing is based on the level of hair loss and desired results, which is different for each client. Please send us photos for your custom quote based on your needs.

The total cost for this service depends on the extent of hair loss/what is required for each case. The payments are broken up between your first two appointments.

Payment break down: The first appointment is 50% of the total cost, the second appointment is the remainder, less the deposits. Your last 1-2 appointments have no further payments. There is a $200 deposit required to save each of your (3) appointment slots in advance to ensure you are serious about your appointments and to reserve them for you.

Generally speaking, three, 3 hour appointments will be required and possibly an additional touch up to achieve natural-looking results.

Each appointment builds more density and sessions can be booked 2 weeks apart to allow the skin to heal in between and see how the blends with the surrounding hair follicles for your subsequent sessions.

Absolutely not! People with longer hair or women with pattern baldness and alopecia can now create the illusion of thicker, denser hair with a “female density” procedure from hairline to crown (back of the head). This would blend very nicely with the existing hair follicles you have and take away some contrast from the scalp to give you a very natural and low maintenance result and more freedom with hairstyles. Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a permanent solution for women with thinning areas on the crown and top of their heads.   SMP creates the illusion of a full head of hair by creating an under-layer.  For women with alopecia, SMP eliminates having to handle consistent spot balding.  SMP is also used in camouflaging scars with the blending of surgical scars and temples of the face.

Scalp micropigmentation is non-invasive and requires no down time. In most cases, you will not need to take any extended time away from work, school, or other functions. After treatment it is common to notice slight redness on the scalp for approximately 2 days post session. Clients are also allowed to wear clean or new hats should they feel the need.

Every appointment has a built-in consultation and the hairline is drawn on and approved by you before any tattooing is done. We recommend initially doing a higher hairline that suits your natural hair pattern and starting conservatively. This can be adjusted and added to over subsequent sessions as you grow comfortable with the look of your SMP.
