In this episode, Candice Falcon shares her insights into the world of medical tattooing and how it can support healing within the medical field. Candice breaks down the artistry, the ethics, the responsibility, and the emotional depth behind this niche. She shares her philosophy on why medical tattooing is not for beginners, how to approach advanced cases, and why healed results must always lead the way. This conversation is educational, inspiring, honest, and everything Girlz Ink stands for.
In This Episode We Cover:

Inspired by Ms Amber Red: Gender Affirming Medical Tattoos with Candice Falcon Pt. 2
In this episode of Inspired, we’re continuing our conversation with the incredible Candice Falcon, owner of Falcon Artistry, as she dives even deeper into her world of paramedical and restorative tattooing. Candice is making big moves—literally—from Canada to Las Vegas, where she’ll soon be splitting her time between two businesses. In part 2 of our chat, my apprentices (Adrienne, Aleks, Ari, Maddie) and I explore the amazing work she does, from tattooing nipples and penises for transgender and cancer clients to scar camouflage and so much more.
Candice walks us through how she’s building her clientele here in Vegas, including her strategy for connecting with surgical doctors who perform procedures like mastectomies or gender confirmation surgeries. You’ll hear all about her hands-on approach, like taking brochures directly to doctors, route planning, and why face-to-face conversations are key to building trust with medical professionals. She’s not just sending emails—she’s making real connections that lead to life-changing results for her clients.
We also touch on how she feminizes the faces of transgender clients through permanent makeup and how crucial it is to explain the power of paramedical tattooing in person. Plus, Candice shares tips for artists looking to grow in this field, including how to network and build meaningful partnerships within the medical community. It’s an episode packed with insight, authenticity, and a whole lot of heart—don’t miss it!
Candice shares her incredible journey, her passion for paramedical tattooing, and what it’s like moving from Canada to join our Inspired team in Las Vegas. We also explore the differences in business regulations between Canada and the U.S. Did you know there are no licensing requirements for permanent makeup or paramedical tattooing in Canada? 🤯 Candice opens up about the challenges this creates and why proper, long-term training is so important for artists in this field.
Candice also shares why she prefers to train advanced students who have a strong foundation in tattooing and discusses the dangers of quick, surface-level trainings. This episode is so packed with insights that we turned it into a two-part series! In the next episode, Candice will talk more about the top areas she tattoos, camouflages, or restores for her clients. You won’t want to miss it—stay tuned for part two!
